Like the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International our vision is to create a global community of nurses who lead in using knowledge, scholarship, service and learning to improve the health of the world’s people.

We've heard the question: "Why haven't I heard from XiMu lately?" Well, here is your answer! The Officers of your XiMu Chapter are working toward getting connected. Jana Taylor, MSN, RN; Professor at Linfield College was grant coordinator which awarded Linfield College Good Samaritan School of Nursing with a $140,000 grant to increase education on simulation education for nursing.

The Vice President of XiMu Chapter; Connie Nguyen has been awarded a $30,000 grant to conduct cancer research in the Vietnamese population.

The President of XiMu Chapter; Kathy Kinderman was awarded $1600 for a student/instructor collaborative grant to study the language structure of nursing documentation information management systems in regional hospitals.
